Worship Times
Coffee Church – 8:30 a.m. in the Nettie Hammond Building (Atkinson St. Entrance). A casual, contemporary worship experience with coffee, light breakfast, and fellowship around tables.
Traditional Service – 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary (Main Street Entrance). A traditional worship experience with organ music, choir anthems, and hymns.

We are located on the corner of Church St, Atkinson St & Main St in downtown Laurinburg. Parking is available along Church Street and in the lot adjacent to the Nettie Hammond Building. Handicap parking is available at both entrances.
What to Expect
At First UMC, you will find a warm, welcoming congregation. Dress ranges from casual to business casual. Our services include prayer, scripture reading, a sermon, and music. Children are welcome in worship, and Children’s Church is available during the 11:00 a.m. service for Pre-K and elementary age students.
Accessibility
An elevator is available on ground level through the first door in the breezeway between the sanctuary building and the Nettie Hammond Building. A ramp leads into the sanctuary from the elevator. Hearing assist devices are available upon request at the AV desk in the sanctuary.

What time are your worship services?
We offer two services each Sunday: Coffee Church at 8:30 a.m. (contemporary, casual) and Traditional Worship at 11:00 a.m.
Where do I park?
Parking is available along Church Street and in the lot adjacent to the Nettie Hammond Building. Handicap parking is available near both entrances.
What should I wear?
There is no dress code. You will see people in everything from jeans to suits. Come as you are.
Is there something for my children?
Yes. Children are always welcome in worship. During the 11:00 a.m. Traditional Service, Children’s Church is available for Pre-K and elementary age students.
Do I need to be a member to attend?
No. Everyone is welcome at First UMC, regardless of membership, background, or where you are on your faith journey.
How do I become a member?
