Seniors

Our Polly Gibson group is for our Senior Adults. The group meets September through June through a variety of activities. This past year started with a Salad brunch. This Salad style potluck included appetizer salads, main course salads and dessert salads among a time of fellowship. The group also went on a trip to the Sandhills Woman's Exchange for lunch and shopping, and then finished the year with a trip to Myrtle Beach for lunch at Cracker Barrel before attending The Christmas Show of the South.

Men

7:30 AM the 3rd Sunday (Sept-May) - meet in Fellowship Hall The Methodist men welcome all men to the monthly breakfast fellowship. There is a small charge for the breakfast. A special Christian speaker presents the program each month. Service projects are also done by Methodist Men.

Women of Faith have several activities and groups to offer the women at First Church:

Women's Circles

Circle 2 - meets 4:00 PM on 1st Mon (following first Sun). in Cynthia Room Refreshments & Speakers Leader: Laura Horne

Circle 3 - meets 10:30 AM on Monday after 1st Sunday in the Library This group makes handcraft items for the church (such as banners)

Call to Prayer & Self-Denial - each Spring

Fall & Spring Dinner meeting

Work project to send Valentine Candy to College Students (Feb)

Organizing Bereavement Meals

The Women of Faith Board meet on the 4th Wednesday (Sept.-May) at 2:00 PM in the First Church Library.
