Church Youth

Sunday Fellowship Lunches:

Every 5th Sunday we have a combined worship service at 10:00 a.m. (alternating between the Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall). After worship, we gather in the Fellowship Hall for a covered dish lunch. Our next Sunday Fellowship Lunch will be on Palm Sunday, March 29th, 2026.

Wednesday Night Suppers:

The first Wednesday of each month September-May we gather for a shared meal at 5;30 p.m. After the meal we have Bible study and/or activities around the table.

Ingathering:

On the 4th Thursday in September every year we host our annual Ingathering. We serve BBQ and Chicken salad plates (eat in or to go).

Bereavement Meals:

After a death in the church family, one of our bereavement teams provides a meal for the grieving family.

Celebration of Graduates:

Every year in May/June we have a special Sunday to honor and celebrate our high school and college graduates at a combined worship service. We also award scholarships on this day.

United Methodist Men (UMM):

United Methodist Men meet throughout the year for fellowship. There is an annual cookout at the Dunbar cabin in the Spring and a breakfast in the fall. UMM also attend local sporting events together, share dinner periodically and raise funds for special projects for the church and community.

United Methodist Women (UMW):

United Methodist Women gather monthly on the 4th Wednesday of each month for fellowship in local restaurants. Women share a covered dish meal together at church twice a year and attend an annual winter retreat at the beach. This year’s retreat is Feb. 20-22. UMW also support a variety of local and global mission projects.

Communion & Lunch at Scotia Village:

On the first Monday of each month at 11:00 Pastor Kellie and retired pastor, Rev. John Butson lead a communion service in the 3rd floor living room at Scotia Village followed by lunch in the dining room.

Prayer Ministry:

We believe in the power of prayer.
